Open Data is a permanent service provided to citizens and businesses to access data free of charge and with few restrictions. Citizens are encouraged to use or repurpose the City of Parksville’s open data for research purposes or to improve their interaction with municipal services.
The City’s Open Data program is one component of our commitment to be an open, transparent and accessible government. The new portal features interactive maps and charts driven by the City’s data and provides the information in a variety of formats. Members of the community can use the raw data to create and share resources from maps to applications and more.
